TALKING TO THE GIRL YOU LIKE IN THE PUB
I talk about the girl I want to kiss
to the girl I want to kiss
She doesn’t know it’s me
because it’s so fundamentally unthinkable,
wanting to kiss a girl,
and her being that girl.
I take my beer
and have another draught
